the dark room.

In the middle of Saturday Covent Garden madness with crowds of tourists bathing in the rare London sunlight, there is a temporary place of refuge, a limited edition dark rabbit hole hidden behind heavy rubber curtains in the gallery space of a Melissa store.
It offers a sneak peak into the futuristic and dark world of Gareth Pugh, celebrating the 10th anniversary since he first set foot on the catwalk of London Fashion Week. Rather than trying to describe the whole scene in words, I tried to capture it in pictures, even though nothing can quite compare to the actual 'irl' experience. Seeing his designs up close, the materials and the construction, accompanied by music that feels rather apocalyptic, is a chance not to be missed if you're in the area.
